Write a letter to this person that you will not mail. In it write down ALL the hurt, bewildered, sad, resentful, humiliated, angry, grief-stricken, betrayed, fearful, or hateful thoughts and feelings you have toward the person.
Notice any body sensations as you write –- where do you feel them in your body? Rub the finished letter over your body, feeling/sensing/imagining it soaking up all of those painful feelings, thoughts and physical discomfort. This letter is now a container for all that pain.
